Why did my payment fail, and how to fix it?
If you have received an email that we were unable to charge your card/Paypal for your subscription renewal or you are seeing a message in the Subscription Management section of your account - some action may be required at your end.
Astra does not immediately deactivate your account if your payment does not go through. Instead, we'll send you an automatic email to let you know that they payment was unsuccessful and try to debit you again several times over the course of a week. If after one week, we’re still unable to collect the payment, your subscription will be automatically paused.
There could be a number of different reasons for unsuccessful payments:
Your card has expired
Insufficient funds
Temporary issue with your bank
You can update your payment method
Reach out to Paddle, our payment provider at assist@paddle.com
Speak to your bank to check for any issues or restrictions at their end
