Why am I seeing duplicate vulnerabilities in the Vulnerabilities page?
Last updated: June 26, 2025
You might notice that some vulnerabilities appear more than once on the Vulnerabilities page in the Astra dashboard. This can happen when:
Multiple scans have been run on the same target, and
The same vulnerability is present in more than one scan.
Currently, Astra shows one entry for each scan in which a vulnerability is found. This means that if a vulnerability is detected in two different scans, it will show up as two separate entries in the list.
What you can do now
To see a de-duplicated view of vulnerabilities:
Go to Pentests / Continuous Scans from the left sidebar.
Select the specific scan you'd like to view.
On the scan results page, you’ll see a list of unique vulnerabilities for that particular scan.
This view ensures that the same vulnerability is not repeated multiple times within a single scan.
What's coming next
We’re actively working on improving the deduplication logic across scans. We’ll roll out updates that will:
Automatically merge duplicate entries across different scans.
Give you a clearer, consolidated view of vulnerabilities across scans for your target.
Thanks for your patience as we roll out these improvements!
