Can I configure a target using a custom HTTP Host Header?
Astra currently does not support customizing the host header of the target. The host header is determined based on the target URI being scanned.
If you want to set up a target using a load balancer host with a custom host header, you can:
Assign a domain or sub-domain to the load balancer in your infrastructure
If you are yet to verify the target URI, you can directly update the new target URI in the Astra Dashboard
If the target URI has been verified already, please create a support ticket with the new target URI
If you have assigned example.com as the domain to the AWS ELB, you can add https://example.com as the target URI in Astra. This way, the host header will automatically be set to example.com during scanning.
Please note that the assigned domain or sub-domain must be properly configured and pointing to the load balancer. Also, make sure that the target URI in Astra is entered correctly and that the URL scheme (http:// or https://) matches the configuration of the load balancer.
If you have any further questions or issues, please don't hesitate to contact support
