How much time does a Pentest (VAPT) take?

The time required to complete a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) typically ranges from 10 to 15 working days after our security engineers receive all necessary information from you. Several factors influence this timeline:

Timeliness of Information:

The speed at which our security engineers receive the required information for the pentest is crucial. This information varies depending on the type of asset (e.g., web app, mobile app, network devices, APIs). During the sign-up process, you will be prompted to provide these details in the Getting Started flow. Additionally, our customer success team will reach out within 24 hours of your sign-up to ensure we have everything needed.

Number of Assets:

The more assets you have (e.g., multiple applications or devices), the longer the pentest will take.

Current Workload:

The timeline may also be impacted by the number of ongoing pentests in our queue.

For web app pentests, initial results are available within a few hours of setting up our vulnerability scanner. This allows your engineers to begin addressing identified issues while our security engineers conduct the manual pentest.
