How much time does a Pentest (VAPT) take?
A Pentest can take anywhere between a minimum of 8-15 working days after our engineers have all the required information from you. Here are a few factors that determine the timelines:
How quickly our security engineer are provided with the required information for the Pentest. The required information can differ depending on the type of asset (web app, mobile app, network devices, APIs etc.). As soon as you sign-up, in the Getting Started flow you are asked this information. Our customer success team also gets in touch with you within 24 hours of your signing-up to ensure we have the required information.
The number. of assets to be Pentested. If you have a dozen applications/devices then definitely they'll take a longer time.
Pentest backlog of on-going Pentests.
The first results for web app Pentests are available within a couple of hours of your setting up our vulnerability scanner. So, your engineers can start working on the fixes after reviewing the results from our scanner while our security engineers performa manual Pentest.
