Integrate Vanta with Astra's OrbitX
Here's how you can connect your Vanta account to a workspace on OrbitX to seamlessly sync your pentest reports
Navitage to the integrations page and select a workspace from the switcher at the top. This workspace will be connected to your Vanta. You can also navigate to this page from Vanta's marketplace
Click Connect on the available Vanta integration then click Connect in the details fly-out
On the following screen, login to your Vanta account and authorize Astra to connect and sync with your Vanta account. On completion, you will be redirected back to Astra's OrbitX![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/2e017d0dc14f2800/screenshot-2024-12-20-at-12015_1imb3xq.png)
You will now be able to sync your pentest report with Vanta.
Here's how the Sync to Vanta functionality works:
The Sync to Vanta button is only enabled when the pentest is in Re-Scan or Certificate Awarded stage. This ensures that only updated or valid reports are synced to Vanta.
On clicking the button, a Full PDF Report is generated for the pentest and it is uploaded to Vanta.
You can find all of the uploaded pentest reports on your Vanta dashboard at https://app.vanta.com/documents/pen-test?tab=results.
On the integrations page, you can also check when the last sync with Vanta had been done
How to troubleshoot errors in the integration
In case you are not able to Sync to Vanta, check the status of the Vanta integration on the integrations page
If there is an authentication error showing up on the Vanta integration, it will be highlighted and the integration will show a failed status. In this case, you'll have to reconfigure the integration by:
a. Deleting the integration on Astra
b. Delete the integration on Vanta
c. Reconfigure the integration using the steps mentioned at the start of this article
