Automated Rescanning for DAST Vulnerability Scanner
The Automated Rescanning feature is integrated into your existing vulnerability management dashboard. From here, you can initiate scans, review vulnerabilities, and request rescans—all from a single, streamlined interface.
Automated Rescanning allows you to verify whether the fixes you’ve deployed have resolved the detected vulnerabilities. Follow these steps to use this feature effectively.
Start by triggering a new automated scan on your asset. This will identify vulnerabilities that need attention.
Once the scan is complete, review the list of detected vulnerabilities. Select the ones you have addressed and deployed fixes for.
Choose the vulnerabilities you want to rescan. A popup will appear at the bottom of the screen, displaying:
The total number of selected vulnerabilities
A Rescan button
Click on the Request a Re-Scan button. A slide-out panel will open, listing the selected vulnerabilities for review before the rescan starts. Once confirmed, the system will perform a focused verification to check if the fixes were effective.
