Why Can't I Select an Exact Time When Scheduling a Scan?
Last updated: June 11, 2026
When you set a scan to run at, say, 4:00 AM, the system may show a slightly different time like 4:39 AM. This is expected.
Why This Happens
The scheduler lets you pick an hour, then automatically assigns the best available minute-slot within that hour. This distributes scan start times across the hour rather than concentrating them at the top, which is typically peak load time.
The result is better performance, fewer queue delays, and no manual tuning required on your end.
Need an Exact Start Time?
Fixed-minute scheduling is not available in the dashboard. If your use case requires a scan to start at a specific minute, contact our support team. This can be configured manually as a one-time exception and is granted in select cases only.
