This page provides a high-level, real-time look at your security landscape, including active scan metrics, compliance statuses, and overall grades across all your targets.

The Dashboard is designed to give you instant insights into your current security health. By aggregating data from all your active pentests and scans, it helps you quickly assess how well-protected your organization is and where you need to focus your remediation efforts.

Who Should Read This

  • Security Leads: Use this view to monitor the Overall Security Grade and identify high-severity vulnerabilities across the entire organization.

  • DevOps & Engineers: Track Scans In Progress to see live results and vulnerability counts as they are discovered.

  • Administrators: Access quick links to Manage Targets or resolve setup issues for pending assets.

  • New Users: Follow the Getting Started checklist to ensure you are utilizing the full power of the OrbitX platform.

Key Functions

  • Overall Security Grade: This is an aggregated representation of your status (from A to F), calculated from individual grades across all your scans.

  • Failed Compliances: Displays a count of vulnerabilities that are currently causing you to fail specific compliance standards.

  • Vulnerabilities by Severity: A radar chart that categorizes findings into Critical, High, Medium, Low, and Info, helping you identify the most urgent risks.

  • Scans In Progress: A live list showing target names, scan types, and real-time vulnerability counts for all ongoing assessments.

  • News and Product Updates: A dedicated section for the latest announcements, new features, and platform improvements.

Available Actions

  • Initiate a Scan: Use the quick link in the banner section to start a new automated or manual assessment immediately.

  • Target Management: Click Manage Targets to jump to the Targets Page, where you can add, edit, or remove assets.

  • Monitor Progress: Click on any row in the "Scans In Progress" section to open a scan’s detail page and monitor its specific vulnerabilities and grades.

  • Get Support: If you encounter trouble during target setup, click the Get Help button to raise a support ticket directly.

  • Expand Quota: Use the Add More Targets section to purchase additional target slots for your workspace.

Best Practices

  • Prioritize by Grade: Use the Overall Security Grade widget to identify which targets have the lowest scores and focus your team's energy there first.

  • Deep Dive into Compliance: If you see entries under Failed Compliances, navigate to the dedicated Compliance page for a detailed breakdown of the specific vulnerabilities causing the failure.
